Email Account Setup Instructions
When Howl’n Dog sets up your email service you will be provided with your account information. This includes:
- Email Address
- Email User ID (Account ID)
- Email Incoming and Outgoing Server Addresses
The following guides help you through the set up parameters for Outlook and Thunderbird. If you are using another email software program, please check the instructions for setting up your software.
You can also access your mail through the web mail service at:
https://mailhost.constantdatacenter.com:20000
This also gives you access to your email properties. If you are using a POP account, you can use this service to manage your spam folder.
Use your email user id (account id) and password to log in.
Outlook Setup
Your Name: This is the name you want to identify this account with.
Email Address: This is your full email address. i.e. yourname@yourdomain.com
Password: Your password exactly as provided. At least 9 characters. Must be at least 1upper case, 1 lower case, 1 number and 1 special character.

Select Internet Email

Name: Your full name
Email Address: Your full email address
Account Type: Choose POP3 or IMAP from the dropdown
Incoming mail server: mailhost.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server: mailhost.yourdomain.com
User Name (Account ID): As provided by us
Password: As provided by us
Check boxes and radio buttons as illustrated
Choose NEXT
For an IMAP Account choose IMAP from dropdown.

Check radio buttons and check boxes as indicated.
